At Tool Connection we have been working hard to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances that we are all facing today throughout Europe and we can assure our network of customers that we remain open for business and are fully operational.
As a business, we take very seriously the health of our staff, colleagues and customers, and to this end we have instigated a number of changes to our working procedures:
- Our B2B sales system is fully functional and we continue to stock 98% of lines. Orders can still be placed via email or telephone. Our technical sales advisors are still available via telephone and email and offering full support.
- In the warehouse our social distancing measures mean reduced staffing levels but we have countered this with increased shifts. We are still picking, packing and delivering.
- Our sales and tech-van teams are off the road for now, but all remain available to customers via telephone and email.
- More than 60% of our office-based staff (and all of our sales staff) are now working from home, still offering 100% functionality to the business and our customers.
Therefore we remain open to support our network of customers, including those who are actively maintaining the supply chain which is crucial to keeping the country’s COVID-19 response moving. Many of our customers supply garages, workshops, accident repair centres, and haulage companies with the tools and consumables that are necessary to keep these key workers and businesses going.
